Cores
Must be rebuidable, assembled, drained, complete and accompanied by original invoice. No core returns after 30 days. There will be a $30.00 charge on all undrained cores if accepted by CAP. Allow 7 days for core refund.
Returns
No returns after 30 days of purchase, or on any unmarked "CAP" parts.
No returns on electrical or carburetion parts.
No returns on glass, or body parts.
No returns without original invoice.
No returns on special orders or body cuts.
No returns on minimum charge sales.
No returns on deposits.
Deposits expire in 30 days.
No cash refunds: in-store credit on accepted returns.
30% restocking fee for all accepted returns.
Inspected parts, must be picked up within 30 days or they become the property of CAP.
Limited Warranty-Engine, Transmission and Rearends
Cylinder heads warranted against being warped or cracked only. Used engines, transmissions and rear ends are warranted for 90 days under normal driving conditions, unless otherwise specified. Engines are warranted again knock, excessive smoke and oil consumption. External seals and gaskets are not warranted. Warranty is void if engine, transmission, ore rear ends are disassembled, improperly handled, improperly installed, used for off-road racing, conversions, etc. Warranty is also void if heat tab is melted or missing. All fluids and filters must be replaced upon instillation. All engine and transmission coolers must be flushed upon installation. Installation verification must be done by an ASE certified mechanic and invoiced no later then one day following installation and must be present at time of any and all warranty claims. Not doing so will void warranty. With respects to defects, is an, within 90 days from purchase date, CAP shall at its discretion, provide either a replacement part or refund purchase price. Customer is responsible to bring parts back to CAP for any inspection. CAP is not responsible for any labor. We will not pick up any vehicle. There will be a 14-day waiting period from purchase for refund of any part which was paid for by check. All parts are sold exchange.
CAP is not responsible for improper installation or usage. Purchaser waives all claims for consequential damages or loss which result from the sale of parts including but not limited to labor charges to install or remove parts, towing, rental car, loss of salary, wages or income. Buyer's sole remedy against CAP shall be the return of the price listed on this invoice or exchange of parts (see policies on RETURNS listed above). CAP makes no promise, guarantee or warranty other than what is stated on this form.
